Jason Rearick has been a part of the Rushmore Honda family for 20 years and says the best part of his job is meeting new people. He’s a native Rapid Citian and attended Stevens High School and South Dakota Schools of Mines & Technology and also served in the United States Air Force. Jason’s hobbies include mountain biking, snowboarding, and golf, and his greatest accomplishment is his family.

I have been in the automobile industry over 20 years. I started in 1994 as a detailer and worked my way up to sales and then into finance. From finance I moved into used car management and running my own store. I have always loved the car business and looked forward to growing with the industry. Thats what has brought me to Rushmore Honda in 2013. I am looking forward to growing with the company and helpiing you in all your financing needs.

I have lived in Rapid City for 9 years, but I am originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Having recently retired from the United States Air Force, where I was Firefighter and EMT, the allure of helping people acquire vehicles they love sounded like a nice change. Spending time with my three children takes precedence above all else. I also enjoy woodworking and going to the gym in my spare time. Although the car purchasing process can be a bit intimidating or stressful at times, I will guide you through it and make your experience as smooth as possible. I pride myself on having integrity and I look forward to building long term relationships and earning the business of my future customers.

Daniel Johnson is originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, and has lived in Rapid City since 2000, graduating from Central High School in 2006. Daniel’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, off-roading, snowboarding, and football. His dream car’s a 1969 Chevelle SS, and Daniel says his greatest accomplishment is his 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn. The best part of the job for Daniel is meeting new people, listening to their story, and finding them the car that fits their needs. Oh, and Daniel’s hidden talent is his ability to raise one eyebrow at a time.

In my spare time I act and sing in local community theater and in the winter, I love to snowboard up at Terry Peak. I enjoy meeting new folks and learning about their lives and background. I was born and raised in the Midwest. I then ventured south to Texas for a number of years, and has now returned to my roots in the Midwest. My desire to be closer to family and love of the four seasons, has brought me to the Black Hills. I have multiple decades of experience in the automotive industry; the majority of it in the Fixed Operations side. In my spare time, I like playing tennis, motorcycling, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, working on his cars, going to concerts, and watching movies. I am most proud of becoming a father to a homeless puppy that we found in a parking lot. Favorite part of job is interactions with our clients, and professionally assisting them with their automotive needs.

Greg is from Rapid City, and graduated from Rapid City Stevens High School before attending Phoenix Jr. College and Adam State. His favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing, and his dream car is a 1967 Pontiac GTO. His greatest accomplishments are being married and raising their two daughters. He claims to not have a hidden talent, but we suspect that’s just him being modest. For Greg, the best part of the job is working with people and learning new technology.

Taylor Knigge is a Rapid City native who attended Stevens High School and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His hobbies include spending time with friends and family, building cars, and drifting, and his dream car is a 2001 Nissan Sylvia S15. Taylor says the best part of his job is helping people get back on the road and that his greatest accomplishment is teaching golf and life skills to kids in Special Olympics. Taylor can also juggle a golf ball with a golf club for an hour.
